Bao Bao

The line of articulated Bao Bao handbags - much loved by architects and designers - was launched by Issey Miyake in 2000. Its design is a continuation of Miyake's experiments with fabric and construction, generating from the idea that the stiffer triangles would create "random forms" by moving the bags or resting them on a surface.
Bao Bao has become one of his most enduring projects, with new shapes, sizes and fabric variations every year, so you can always indulge yourself in new shopping.
